Importing Videos
To start editing a video, tap the “Video” option on the main screen and select the clips you want to work with from your device’s gallery. You can add multiple video clips to create a single, cohesive video.
Trimming and Splitting Video Clips
In the editing workspace, use the “Trim” tool to adjust the length of your video clips. You can also split a clip into multiple segments by using the “Split” option.
Adding Transitions and Effects
InShot provides various transitions and effects that can enhance your video. Tap the “+” icon between clips to add a transition or apply an effect to a selected clip from the “Effect” menu.
Adjusting Speed and Reverse Playback
Change the speed of your video clip by tapping the “Speed” tool. You can also reverse the playback of a clip using the “Reverse” option.
Adding Audio and Voiceovers
To add background music or a voiceover, tap the “Music” icon in the toolbar . You can choose from InShot’s library of music or import your own audio files. To record a voiceover, tap the “Record” button and speak into your device’s microphone.
Muting and Extracting Audio from Video Clips
If you want to mute the original audio from a video clip, tap the “Volume” tool and adjust the volume to 0%. To extract audio from a video clip, tap the “Extract” option within the “Volume” menu.
Adding Text, Stickers, and Emojis to Videos
Similar to photo editing, you can add text, stickers, and emojis to your video by tapping the corresponding icon in the toolbar. Customize the appearance and position of these elements as needed.
Working with Multiple Video Layers
InShot allows you to work with multiple video layers for advanced editing. To add a video layer, tap the “Layer” icon and select a video from your device’s gallery. You can then adjust the size, position, and opacity of the layer, as well as apply masking and blending effects.
