PR Boxes & Gifting Campaigns

How it works:

Our gifting campaigns are randomised and automatically matched based on your profile. The matching process takes into account your niche — be it lifestyle, gym lover, foodie, or otherwise — to ensure your content and the brands we work with are connecting with the right people. 

When selected, you’ll get an email from us letting you know a product is on the way, free of charge. While not guaranteed for every user, selection is ongoing. So if you miss out on the first few, there’ll more than likely be a parcel at your door soon enough. 

Your responsibility:

If you receive a product, you are required to post at least one Instagram Story following the brief we provide. It’s that simple.

This isn’t capped — if you love the product, feel free to shout about it from the rooftops more than once. The more you engage, the more likely brands are to pay attention to your content. 

It’s a quick and simple way for you to showcase your skills as a creator, while sampling the products you love. What could be better?

Control your preferences anytime:

We understand life gets busy. Sometimes, social media takes a backseat while you focus your attention elsewhere. You can opt in or out of gifting whenever you’d like. 

Just log in to your profile at gymfluencers.agency/profile and toggle your gifting status to “Yes” or “No” — or put it on pause.

That way, we know our gifting campaigns will provide maximum value for brands, and ensure the products land in the hands of those who have time to celebrate them. 

Do’s and Don’ts

Posting a story in return for free product is the dream spot for growing creators. It’s often the first taste of brand collaborations for many in our network. 

Though it’s quick and simple to do, there are some key guidelines we ask people to follow to ensure the value brands get in return for their gifted goodies is as high as possible. 

The benefit of this isn’t all one way. Better content means higher engagement on your end and, ultimately, a growing follower base that starts the path to your dream career or side hustle. 

Below are examples — two of what to do, and two of what to avoid when posting your gifted content.

At a minimum:

  • A clear, engaging Instagram Story with proper tags and messaging is expected.
  • Want to stand out? Go one step further with a Reel, carousel, or even a static post.

Dos and Don’ts for activewear or similar products:

  • DO try on your new haul, flex in the mirror and tell people how it fits and feels. Your audience wants to know what it would be like to train in, wear on a walk, or if it’s comfy enough for a lazy Sunday slouching on the sofa. Ultimately, they want to see real people wearing it so they can picture if it would work for them. 
  • DON’T take a picture or video of it crumpled on the bed or in your hand like a bad Vinted add. Activewear is made to sculpt and move with you, and it certainly won’t look its best without you in it — or left in the packet. 

Dos and Don’ts for protein bars or similar products: 

  • DO record or take a picture of yourself taking a bite out of it, telling your followers what it tastes like. The branding should be nice and clear, and captions like ’10/10′ are always welcome. 
  • DON’T just snap content of protein bars in a box or the palm of your hand. Anyone can take a picture of some packaging — what truly connects with audiences is personality. People buy from people, not brands. Show off your skills at every opportunity, because one good story could be the catalyst for so much more. 

The most important thing is that we don’t want to see any pictures of products in boxes. It looks lazy, uninspiring, and most of the time a mystery as to what’s actually inside.

Your content should tell a story — and it doesn’t have to be a long one. Maybe that protein ball you just bit into is your new go-to post-workout snack.

Or those buttery-soft leggings have you heading straight for the squat rack.

Whatever it is, show personality. That’s what makes you unique — celebrate it.

  • You choose to accept or decline
  • Once completed, submit your invoice
  • Get paid — usually within 24 hours!
