Let’s move onto technical tools that handle the behind-the-scenes of Instagram.
Keywords Everywhere
For all things keywords and SEO, we recommend Keywords Everywhere as a Chrome extension. It costs $10 for a tonne of credits, with high-level insight for what you need. Most other tools (like SEMrush) are for more intricate and analytical reports.
When it comes to SEO, keep it simple. Understand what questions are being asked and the top keywords most relevant to your niche. Then you pop them in your caption. (But don’t “keyword stuff” – that’s spammy.)
Later
Later is like a mini social media manager. It will help you schedule your posts, from photos to reels, so you can plan your diary and save time. This keeps you stick to a content plan and feel less overwhelmed with posting. So if you’re out and about, the post will share at the scheduled time regardless.
You can also schedule via Facebook Business Suite; but rumour has it that this platform tends to be buggy. Either way, you may want to double-check it posted successfully. There’s nothing more heartbreaking than a failed upload…
Hootsuite
Hootsuite is your go-to information platform for social media advice, trends and reports. Stay on the ball with what’s happening on Instagram (algorithm updates, new features, analytics) so that you can optimise and adapt your content strategy as necessary.
